Double check before you press SEND

**WARNING -- This post contains NON-explicit references to the fact that Dustin and I are indeed a married couple who engage in married-people activities. Family members may prefer to skip this one....although I promise it is quite funny ;) **

It seems as though Dustin and I were made for each other in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Specifically -- our tendencies to accidentally hit on people (you remember me and the bank teller?) whom we really shouldn't.

Case in point...I got this e-mail yesterday from Dustin a little while after I'd e-mailed him to find out what he wanted to do last night for dinner and such:

Subject: hey babe

I got your email a little while ago but haven’t had a chance to respond. What would you like to do tonight? I’m not really sure about what I want for dinner. I don’t really have a taste for anything as of yet. I just know I want it to be fast and easy. I do, however, know exactly what I want for dessert…

Notice how he does not type my name at the beginning of the e-mail.
That e-mail was followed up by this e-mail:

Subject: this is funny

Just so you know, that last email I just sent you, I accidently sent it to Brian first. I feel so stupid. Can’t believe I did that. Pretty funny, huh? As soon as I clicked “Send” I saw his name in the box and I was like, “oh crap!” but it was too late. Woops.

Oh, and Brian is Dustin's BOSS. Nice, huh. Fortunately, Brian has a good sense of humor and got a HUGE kick out of the whole thing, so no damage was done. I have always had a terrible fear of something like this happening with my boss -- but *knock on wood* it has yet to happen. But this just goes to show you that you really should double check your e-mails before you send them. That...or maybe we just have serious problems.

Okay, everyone fess up now...have you done anything like this before?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I am still laughing about this! I once sent an email to my MIL that was meant for Jeff venting about how she was frustrating me. That made for awkward phone calls for a long time.
p.s. my favorite part is, "I know what I want for dessert." hahaha I may laugh all the way home!

Nope, I've never done anything like this. However, IF I had, I would definitely not reveal it to all of cyberspace.

LOL Haven't done this but got a good laugh out of it. Bet the boss did, too. If he has a good sense of humor - he's probably having fun teasing your hubby. :)

My boss thought it was pretty funny. We were laughing about it on the way to lunch, Friday, as he said, "Well, I hope you got some dessert." I just stayed quiet... ;)

Oh my goodness that is freaking hilarious! I'm glad to hear that my husband isn't the only husband that makes comments like the last one!
